Write a minimum 3 full page paper (not including title page or reference list) and identify: (1) a short (no longer than ½ page) description of the setting of the movie (DO NOT WRITE A 5 PAGE SUMMARY OF THE MOVIE), (2) which character you are analyzing, (3) the general stage of development (may be multiple), (4) how multiple developmental theorists (i.e., Freud, Erikson, Piaget, Kohlberg) would identify this character’s development stage and why, (5) discuss future/past development assumptions (if not shown in film), (6) discuss the various issues and changes this individual may be experiencing at this particular developmental stage. Some latitude will be given for interpretation.
Assignment should be written in APA format. First person is acceptable and the movie should be listed as a reference and cited properly.
